Extending Akritas

Prefer a read-only MCP adapter when integrating logs, metrics, inventory, or orchestration systems. Give every tool a strict JSON object schema, argument validator, bounded timeout, explicit permission, and handler that returns valid bounded JSON.

Validator profiles are host-controlled fixed commands. Adding one requires applicability rules, executable preflight, a sanitized environment, timeout and output bounds, result evidence, and tests. Do not accept model-provided commands as validators.

Any public behavior change requires task-oriented documentation, reference updates, and a security/threat-model review when it touches authentication, tools, files, validators, approvals, audit, or network access.
